Oundle Music Trust

Supporting Oundle International Festival & Oundle for Organists

Patrons: Benedict Cadbury and David Laing

IMG 0546 180xAlthough Oundle Music Trust is a thriving organisation, with the Festival and Summer Schools welcoming artists and students from all over the world, every year is a challenge to find the necessary funding.

The Supporters raise money for the activities of Oundle International Festival and Oundle for Organists as they grow and develop.  Each year the money raised through donations has not only provided the funding for Festival concerts or core costs, but also helped to support some of the talented young organists attending the Summer Schools.

Your help enables Oundle Music Trust to flourish, providing year round support without which we simply could not manage.

Supporting Us

2015 ImageThe Oundle Music Trust runs the annual Oundle International Festival, the Autumn and Spring Music in Special Places, Oundle Cinema, Oundle Food Festival, Oundle for Organists and the Oundle Box Office which sells tickets for local arts organisations. Despite all this activity, keeping our show on the road is a financial challenge. We apply for grants and trust funding, generate revenue in a number of different ways, but we rely on the generous support of local people and companies.

There are several ways in which you can support us:

Become a Friend or Corporate Friend

For a modest annual donation, you will join a band of committed and generous people and companies who help to ensure the continuation of our organisation which in turn supports the continuation of the rich cultural offering in the Oundle area.

In return, Friends benefit from being invited to our annual Festival launch party, having priority booking when Festival tickets first go on sale, receiving a free souvenir programme and regular updates from Oundle Music Trust HQ as well as having the wonderful warm feeling that they are supporting a good cause! Don't forget, if you pay income tax, you can significantly increase the value of your membership donation by allowing us to claim giftaid on your donation.

Oundle Music Trust is also registered as an evaluated charity with The American Fund for Charities so that donors from the USA can make tax-deductible gifts to us. To donate, go to The American Fund for Charities website and scroll down the list of evaluated charities to find Oundle Music Trust.

Support a Young Musician

You can support talented young musicians by sponsoring one of our Young Performer concerts or by donating to the Alan Spedding Memorial Fund to support a student attending an 'Oundle for Organists' course.

Give an Oundle Box Office Voucher to someone you love

Our vouchers can be spent on any of the events for which we sell tickets.  Call the Box Office to arrange it on 01832 274734.  Gift ideas made easy!

If you have enjoyed coming to our events over the years, you may like to show your appreciation through your Will.  We are grateful for any legacy funding, although non-specific legacies are most useful.  Of course, should you wish to leave us money to be put towards a particular use we will be delighted to accommodate your wishes.  A legacy form can be obtained through the office.

Lend a hand (or a bed)

We couldn't run our events without the help of a brave army of volunteers who help with ticket sales, stewarding, projecting films, running bars, moving furniture and many other tasks which arise!  It is good fun, you get to see the performances and films at no cost and you meet interesting people.  Additionally, we are keen to hear from people who are happy to host performers (usually one night only).

For more information on all of the above, email Camilla Sherwin, Administrative Director, or contact her through the office.
