Oundle Music Trust announces the appointment of Camilla Sherwin as Adminstrative Director
Oundle Music Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Camilla Sherwin as its new Administrative Director, to support the Oundle International Festival, Music in Quiet Places and Oundle for Organist programmes. Camilla brings with her a wealth of experience from the private, not for profit and voluntary sectors. Most recently she has been the chair of two local organisations; roles which involved working closely with staff and volunteers to deliver successful projects and useful services in the community, marketing and public representation, raising funds and managing their expenditure. Through this and work undertaken for Oundle School, she has established strong links with local organisations and businesses and made many friends in the area.
Before moving to Oundle, Camilla was Business Development Manager at London Remade, a private public partnership which was funded primarily through the Mayor’s office. Whilst in post she raised significant amounts of public funding and ran the corporate sponsorship programme. She was also responsible for initiating new projects, developing networks and partnerships as well as managing the marketing and events team.
Kenneth Richardson, Artistic Director of Oundle Music Trust said: "I am delighted that we have persuaded someone of Camilla's experience to join us and help us realise the many exciting projects and programmes for 2015 and beyond."
Commenting on her appointment Camilla said: “I’m really looking forward to working for the Oundle Music Trust. The programme for July’s Oundle International Festival, put together by Artistic Director Kenneth Richardson, promises to be fantastic, with something for everyone. The Oundle for Organists courses are renowned world-wide for being an incubator for many of the country’s leading organists, Oundle’s excellent Food Festival is also coming under our umbrella and our season kicks off with ‘Music in Quiet Places’ in May. There are busy times ahead!”
