Come and Sing
FAURÉ’S REQUIEM
Choral workshops with a difference!
| Resonantes | The Oundle Choral Workshops |
Oundle International Festival is delighted to announce a new programme of one-day workshops for singers of all ages and voices. Our model is the tried and tested ‘turn up and sing’ formula, but our ambition is to set a new benchmark for vocal coaching, enlightenment, quality and sheer fun!
The Oundle workshops will be led by some of the UK’s finest vocal directors. The sessions will feature an in-depth study of a specific piece, composer or repertoire and will have an additional focus on enhancing key vocal skills such as tuning, ensemble and sight-reading.
However, the most rewarding musical experiences can often result from achieving an understanding of the process that lies behind the creation of the music and an empathy for the world from which it emerged. For this reason we are delighted to be offering the additional, contrasting opportunities:
We would also like to extend a warm invitation to all participants to perform the chosen music during Oundle International Festival each July.
GABRIEL FAURÉ – Late Romantic or Early Impressionist?
