Sunday 9 July
A weekend-long celebration of exceptional local amateur performers, skilled artists and amazing gardeners, Oundle on Show will feature inspiring performances, an art exhibition and tours of some of the town’s finest gardens. It will also aim to encourage wider participation in the organisations involved.
Running concurrently with the Festival events are Oundle Horticultural Society’s Annual Show in the Laxton Long Rooms of Oundle School, Oundle Museum’s display of ‘Oundle in the 1940s’ and the Saturday morning Farmers’ Market.
11.00am - 5.00pm, Around Oundle
Map and Garden Guide £5 on the day from:
The Hub, Fletton House, Glapthorn Road, Oundle, PE8 4AJ.
Tickets may be purchased in advance and exchanged for a Map and Garden Guide on the day.
Make the most of this opportunity to stroll around many of the town’s exquisite private gardens. Each featured garden was chosen for its emphasis on ‘grow your own’ and ‘cultivate to enjoy’ practices, which highlight this year’s theme of Beautiful and Edible. As you walk around town, visit some of the short concerts being given as part of Oundle on Show - Music & Performing Groups and the exhibition by Nene Valley Artists.
Please note: not all the gardens are fully accessible.
